Description: The Hamlet of Canalicchio sits on a hilltop, 420 meters above sea level. Originally it was built around the year 1,000. Most of what you see now was restored in the 1700s, including the parochial Church of Saints Philip and James. In the 1980s a family from Rome bought up most what was at the time a village reduced to ruins.
